Job Description

Seeking a skilled Instrumentation Engineer with profound LabVIEW expertise for Skyroot Aerospace's on-board Avionics module development and testing. This individual contributor role requires designing, implementing, and testing Avionics modules for launch vehicles.

Responsibilities

Design, development, and testing of Instrumentation & Control software based on LabVIEW that goes either onto on-board systems or onto test systems for launch vehicle requirements. Gather and implement requirements for instrumentation & control software. Work closely with systems engineers to implement instrumentation / control / automated test functionalities as needed for the mission.

Qualifications

Bachelors / Masters in Electronics Engineering or equivalent (ECE / EEE / EIE / Mechatronics) with 1- 4 years of relevant work experience.

Instrumentation & Controls Knowledge:

Good understanding of circuit theory & instrumentation concepts including Kirchoff?s laws, RLC circuits, OpAmps, ADCs, sources of noise, EMI/EMC best practices etc.
Basic understanding of signal processing concepts including: Nyquist sampling theorem, Frequency domain analysis, Digital filtering techniques.
Good understanding of Control theory including, LTI systems, transfer functions, Negative feedback, PID control, impulse response, step response etc.

LabVIEW Expertise:

Equivalent to or greater than 1 year of professional LabVIEW based development.
Ability to wholly develop a moderate scale LabVIEW project (~20-50 SubVIs) on your own.
Good understanding of LabVIEW?s data flow paradigm of programming.
Strong inclination towards architecture-centric thinking, scalability, readability.
