Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Shift Engineer to ensure the smooth operation of equipment and systems in the assigned unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintenance, documentation, inventory management, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain equipment in the assigned area
Ensure completion of all scheduled PPMs in a timely manner
Prepare annual PPM plans, review checklists, and ensure on-time completion
Respond to issues and breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime
Coordinate maintenance work orders and ensure spare parts availability
Maintain inventory level for equipment spares and consumables
Ensure GMP compliance and meet quality standards
Maintain cleanliness and presentability of the building and premises
Communicate effectively with team members and users
Encourage continuous improvements and energy-saving methods
Report as per management requirements and manage minor projects

Qualifications

B.Tech/B.E. in any specialization
Previous experience in maintenance engineering
Knowledge of equipment operation, PPM, documentation, and compliance
Strong communication and project management skills
