Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Water & Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator to manage the day-to-day operations of treatment facilities including ETP, STP, WTP, and RO systems. The ideal candidate should have a sound understanding of treatment processes, safety norms, and plant operation practices to ensure efficient and compliant plant functioning.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor ETP, STP, RO, and WTP systems as per standard operating procedures.
  • Carry out routine inspection of equipment, pumps, valves, and meters to ensure optimal operation.
  • Maintain operational records, logs, and reports on plant performance and chemical usage.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant machinery and instruments.
  • Conduct regular sampling and testing of water and wastewater to ensure compliance with environmental and quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to PPE and safety protocols.
  • Respond to alarms and troubleshoot equipment or process issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams for ongoing plant improvement and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes.
  • Familiar with safety norms and usage of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
  • Ability to understand and interpret technical documents and plant schematics.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance.
  • Strong observation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to work in shifts and handle emergency situations.
