The Senior Food Technologist will be responsible for improving existing products and developing new ones to meet market needs. This role involves managing product testing, assessing materials and processes, and reporting technical issues.
Lead key projects with R&D to support business goals.
Develop research programs to improve existing products and study new product potential.
Understand customer expectations for new products.
Establish project goals in collaboration with Marketing and Operations.
Transfer new technologies and products in and out of the company.
Design and evaluate materials, processes, and equipment.
Monitor team metrics and objectives.
Document research phases.
Manage customer relationships and perform product testing.
Establish testing procedures for raw materials and finished products.
Oversee research projects, analyse results, and provide recommendations.
Manage quality assurance department and staff.
Maintain compliance with laws and regulations.
Identify and analyze issues and recommend solutions.
Completed certification courses such as GHP & GMP, HACCP, ISO 9001, ISO 22000, Auditing, etc.
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a relevant field.
Strong creativity and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask efficiently.
Proficiency in MS Office and Google Sheets.
