Job Description

Responsible for managing procurement activities, optimizing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing strategies to support business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Digital Procurement & Data Analytics:
    • Utilize Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tools in ERP systems to ensure material availability.
    • Upgradation & roadmap to Integrated Business Planning (IBP) solutions for scenario planning.
    • Enhancement of SRM portals (P2P/ASN) for seamless visibility of RMPM/FG status with automated reconciliation modules.
    • Leverage Power BI and other analytics tools to generate procurement reports, track supplier performance, and monitor cost trends.
    • Support digital transformation initiatives such as automation in procurement workflows and supplier portals.
  • Procurement Strategy:
    • Planning of raw materials, packaging materials, and indirect goods/services required for the business.
    • Manage supplier relationships, including negotiations, contract management, and performance evaluations.
    • Liaison with cross-functional teams for alternate vendor development, MOQ reduction, supplier proximity & CRM projects.
  • Supplier Management & Negotiation:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely delivery and reliability for in-house, 3P & P2P operations.
    • Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Develop supplier risk management strategies and contingency plans to mitigate supply chain disruptions.
  • Procurement Operations & Compliance:
    • Ensure adherence to procurement policies, ethical sourcing standards, and regulatory compliance.
    • Work closely with internal departments to understand material and service requirements.
    • Monitor and analyze procurement spend to identify cost-saving opportunities.
    • Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, and supplier performance metrics.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Cross-Functional Coordination:
    • Work closely with supply chain, production, R&D, and finance teams to ensure procurement aligns with business needs.
    • Support new product development (NPD) by sourcing innovative materials and packaging solutions.
    • Coordinate with logistics and warehousing teams to ensure smooth inbound material flow.
    • Engage in sustainability initiatives and ensure responsible sourcing practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
