Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Accountant to manage our financial records, ensure compliance with statutory regulations, and provide accurate financial information for decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Record Keeping:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
    • Process invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
    • Ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial transactions.
  • Financial Reporting:
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (e.g., balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements).
    • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
    • Analyze financial data and provide insightful reports to management.
  • Tax Compliance:
    • Assist in the preparation and filing of various tax returns (e.g., GST, TDS, Income Tax) in compliance with Indian tax laws.
    • Stay updated on changes in tax regulations and ensure adherence.
    • Coordinate with tax consultants as needed.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable:
    • Manage the accounts payable process, including vendor invoice processing and payments.
    • Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
    • Maintain strong relationships with vendors and customers regarding financial matters.
  • Internal Controls:
    • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of internal financial controls to safeguard company assets.
    • Ensure adherence to company financial policies and procedures.
  • Auditing:
    • Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Compliance and Statutory Requirements:
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and statutory requirements in India.
    • Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and best practices.
  • Other Duties:
    • Assist with other accounting and finance-related tasks as assigned.
