Site Engineer

Key Responsibilities of a Site Engineer:

• Interpret and apply engineering plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Provide technical guidance and advice to subcontractors and site staff.
• Identify and resolve technical issues that arise during construction.
• Conduct site surveys, leveling, and setouts.
• Ensure quality control and adherence to standards.
• Manage site activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and task delegation.
• Monitor project progress, ensuring it stays on schedule and within budget.
• Prepare and maintain site documentation, reports, and records.
• Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols on the construction site.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, and other site personnel.
• Attend project meetings and provide updates on progress.
• Negotiate with vendors and contractors for materials and services.
• Prepare cost estimates and proposals.
• Oversee the selection and requisition of materials.
• May be involved in the design phase of projects.
• Research the environmental impact of projects and incorporate eco-friendly features.
