Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining daily accounting entries, preparing and filing GST returns, handling TDS filing, vendor payments, invoicing, bank reconciliations, maintaining petty cash, ledgers, supporting monthly closing, preparing financial statements, and coordinating audits.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain daily accounting entries (sales, purchases, payments, receipts)
  • Prepare and file GST returns (monthly/quarterly)
  • Handle TDS filing, vendor payments, invoicing, and bank reconciliations
  • Maintain petty cash, ledgers, and support monthly closing
  • Assist in preparing financial statements and coordinating audits
  • Work with the CA and management on statutory compliance and documentation

Qualifications

  • B.Com/M.Com or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting (manufacturing sector preferred)
  • Proficient in Tally or similar accounting software
  • Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and general accounting principles
