Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Sales Executive to identify and target potential clients for cloud solutions, leveraging AWS, Akamai, and Azure services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and a proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets in cloud solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and target potential clients for cloud solutions, leveraging AWS, Akamai, and Azure services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise clients, understanding their cloud computing needs and offering suitable solutions.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for cloud services and solutions.
  • Work closely with pre-sales and technical teams to provide customers with tailored cloud architecture, security, and cost-optimization solutions.
  • Prepare proposals, quotes, and pricing models that align with client budgets and business objectives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging cloud technologies to refine sales pitches and strategies.
  • Engage with AWS, Akamai, and Azure teams, along with internal cloud engineers, to deliver value-added solutions.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline tracking, and performance reports to measure progress against goals.
  • Ensure all deals adhere to legal, regulatory, and company compliance requirements while negotiating favorable contract terms.
  • Continuously upgrade knowledge on cloud technologies and train internal teams and clients on the latest cloud offerings and benefits.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • An MBA or a Master's degree in a relevant field is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts.
  • Knowledge of AWS, Akamai, and Azure services, pricing models, and architectures.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in cloud solutions.
  • Experience in B2B sales, enterprise solutions, and partner/channel sales.
  • Ability to understand client needs and recommend cloud solutions.
  • Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills.
  • Experience with RFPs, proposals, and pricing strategies.
  • Ability to work with pre-sales engineers to develop customized solutions.
  • Experience in partnering with cloud vendors (AWS, Akamai, Microsoft).
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, competitive environments.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, events, and conferences.
