Job Description

The Lead Data Engineer focuses on acquiring data from various sources within a Health System's ecosystem. They leverage Catalyst's Data Operating System to acquire and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Mentor and guide a team of data engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data infrastructure issues to ensure high availability.
  • Implement best practices for data governance, lineage, and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in technology, business, or healthcare related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with EMR/EHR systems.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
