Job Description

The Office Assistant will provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. This role involves managing correspondence, assisting with customer inquiries, maintaining records, and supporting various departments within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner
  • Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary
  • Assist in organizing and scheduling meetings
  • Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, reports, and documents
  • Maintain filing systems for both electronic and paper documents
  • Support the accounting department with invoicing and expense tracking
  • Liaise with vendors and clients as required
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
  • Assist in various ad-hoc projects as needed

Qualifications

  • Graduation or Higher; additional qualifications as an administrative assistant or secretary will be a plus
  • Proven experience as an office assistant or in another relevant administrative role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Able to multitask effectively while prioritizing tasks appropriately
  • Able to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the company
