Job Description

The Office Assistant will perform general administrative duties to ensure the smooth running of the office while utilizing their Photoshop skills to assist with various design-related tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support:
    • Answer and direct phone calls and emails.
    • Manage office supplies, ordering and restocking as needed.
    • Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments.
    • Organize and maintain office filing systems (digital and physical).
    • Assist with general office tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and mail distribution.
  • Photoshop Design & Editing:
    • Create, edit, and format images for marketing materials, presentations, social media, and the company website.
    • Assist in creating visual assets for branding, advertisements, and internal communications.
    • Edit and enhance photos for use in company materials.
    • Help with design tasks like brochures, flyers, and other printed collateral.
  • Document Management:
    • Prepare, format, and proofread documents, presentations, and reports.
    • Assist with maintaining and updating digital content, ensuring all materials are up to date.
  • Team Support:
    • Collaborate with various departments to provide administrative and design support.
    • Assist with organizing events, workshops, or meetings as required.
  • Customer/Client Interaction (as needed):
    • Communicate with clients or vendors as directed by senior staff.
    • Assist with customer inquiries and direct them to appropriate departments.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Office Assistant or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Photoshop and other Adobe Creative Suite tools (Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design principles and ability to work with visual assets.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Positive attitude, flexibility, and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
