Job Description

Join Knauf India as a Plant HR Manager and be part of a global manufacturing company with a focus on construction materials. You will manage all HR functions within the Dahej plant, implementing strategies aligned with organizational goals and ensuring compliance with laws and policies.

Responsibilities

Plant Setup and HR Operations Expertise: Establish a new plant, develop HR operations, and ensure legal compliance. Design recruitment processes, optimize workflows, and create policies.
HR Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with operational goals. Partner with plant leadership to address HR-related issues.
Recruitment and Staffing: Oversee recruitment processes, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
Employee Relations: Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and grievance handling.
Compliance and Legal: Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
Employee Engagement and Retention: Develop programs to enhance engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
HR Reporting and Analytics: Maintain and analyze HR metrics and prepare reports for senior management.
Health, Safety, and Wellness: Collaborate with safety team to ensure workplace safety.
Change Management: Support change initiatives and manage transitions effectively.

Qualifications

Experience: 7+ years in HR operations and compliance, recruitment, and staffing.
Education: Master's in Business Administration or related field in HR.
Skills: Knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and employee relations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Problem-solving abilities and proficiency in HR software.
Other: Ability to work collaboratively, manage priorities, and handle complex HR issues.
