Job Description

The Dean of Research & Development (R&D) at KLH University will lead and drive the university's research agenda, promoting innovation, excellence, and academic partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the university's strategic vision for research.
  • Oversee the management of research activities.
  • Foster interdisciplinary research collaboration.
  • Lead efforts to secure research funding.
  • Establish and strengthen Centers of Excellence.
  • Manage the university's research funding pool.
  • Promote and facilitate faculty development programs.
  • Monitor the progress of research projects.
  • Represent KLH University in national and international academic forums.
  • Collaborate with external research bodies to create new opportunities for research advancement.

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in a relevant field of Engineering or Technology.
  • Considerable experience in academic research.
  • Strong publication record in reputed international journals.
  • Experience in fostering collaborations with international academic institutions.
  • Knowledge of research evaluation metrics and methodologies.
  • Experience with patenting processes and commercialization of research innovations.
