Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to work remotely from our back office in Kochi, supporting financial operations and liaising with the finance team in Dubai.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in daily accounting operations, including data entry and ledger maintenance.
  • Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
  • Reconcile bank statements and financial transactions.
  • Assist in payroll processing and expense tracking.
  • Support in preparing VAT returns and ensuring compliance with UAE tax regulations.
  • Maintain financial records and assist in audits.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, clients, and the finance team in Dubai regarding financial transactions.
  • Generate reports and provide financial insights to management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1-year of experience in accounting or finance, preferably with exposure to UAE accounting practices.
  • Familiarity with UAE VAT laws and financial regulations is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in using any ERP software.
  • Strong skills in MS Excel and financial reporting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Hindi is a plus.
  • Ability to coordinate with remote teams and manage financial data efficiently.
