Job Description

Seeking a Junior Site Engineer with experience in building construction and a strong desire to learn and develop skills in all aspects of construction.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Senior Site Engineer in coordinating and supervising on-site construction activities.
  • Learn and assist in conducting site surveys to ensure accuracy.
  • Provide technical assistance to site teams and assist in resolving technical issues.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining quality control procedures.
  • Assist in monitoring and tracking project progress and preparing progress reports.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of construction materials.
  • Enforce health and safety regulations on site and promote a safe working environment.
  • Assist in coordinating with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Gain a working knowledge of finishing works, including painting, tiling, flooring, and fixture installation.

Qualifications

  • Some experience in building construction preferred.
  • Basic understanding of construction drawings and specifications.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
