Job Description

Join Avalara as an Intercompany and Treasury Accounting Lead to manage cash and intercompany accounting responsibilities. Collaborate with teams to ensure accuracy and compliance with policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

Intercompany responsibilities:
Review and oversee intercompany transactions
Collaborate on multiple intercompany transactions
Coordinate with global subsidiaries
Ensure intercompany invoicing compliance
Review monthly intercompany reconciliations
Treasury responsibilities:
Prepare and distribute daily cash position reports
Analyze daily bank activity and cash flow forecasts
Prepare and execute weekly payment runs
Oversee bank account reconciliations
Ensure accuracy of cash journal entries
Review and develop business processes

Qualifications

Chartered Accountant or MBA
8+ years of accounting experience
Experience with Kyriba Treasury Management System
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Experience with ERP systems like NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP
Knowledge in using Alteryx and PowerBI
