Job Description

Join Zepto as a Senior DevOps Engineer and be responsible for managing all infrastructure that powers the company. Work on creating, managing, and enhancing the complete end-to-end CI/CD pipeline and mentor junior DevOps engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Recommend infrastructure solutions to product and tech teams for roadmap products and innovations.
  • Promote and instill a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency in software/business processes.
  • Troubleshoot applications and infrastructure issues to minimize impact on live production environment.
  • Build automated deployment and handle large-scale distributed infrastructure for web and mobile users.
  • Configuration and management of data sources like PostGresSQL, Mongo, Elasticsearch, Redis, Aerospike, etc.
  • Mitigate service performance bottlenecks by conducting need-gap analysis.
  • Manage configuration management, build-and-release cycles, and continuous integration processes.
  • Oversee routine maintenance procedures and perform diagnostic tests.
  • Manage multiple interfaces, relationships, and communication to ensure systems are running smoothly.
  • Pioneer adopting new DevOps tools and techniques.

Qualifications

  • 4-7 years of experience managing and automating cloud platforms using Terraform/Ansible on AWS.
  • Strong expertise in Kubernetes AWS EKS, Ingress, Service Mesh, Helm, and Kong.
  • Experience with infrastructure management on tools like AWS Aurora PostgreSQL, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, Redis, Aerospike, Kafka, etc.
  • First-hand experience building and working with frontend/backend services and databases.
  • Experience in architecting, designing, and executing internal developer platforms is a plus.
  • Experience in Infrastructure provisioning automation using tools like Terraform.
  • Experience with CI/CD toolings.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and collaborative attitude.
  • Mentoring younger team members.
