Job Description

Weir Minerals is seeking a Senior Engineer - Purchase specializing in Electrical and Automation. The role involves managing direct material purchases for electrical, automation, and instrumentation parts, ensuring optimal quality, price, and delivery time.

Responsibilities

Identify, evaluate, and procure electrical components and automation systems from suppliers.
Generate RFQs, handle technical understanding and negotiations.
Negotiate costs, manage vendor relationships.
Conduct market analysis, manage inventory.
Oversee contract management and PR to PO release in SAP.
Coordinate with CFT for technical details.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Engineering Technology - Electrical / Instrumentation.
5-6 years of total experience, minimum 1 year in SAP.
Core experience in electrical, instrumentation, and automation supply.
Strong understanding of electrical engineering principals in automation technology.
Proficient in cost analysis and project management.
