Job Description

Hiredas is seeking a Structural Engineer I to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing structures, preparing design calculations, and ensuring compliance with building codes and standards.

Responsibilities

Preparing structural steel design models using Revit
Designing header steel for supporting Material Handling Equipment
Preparing design calculations using RISA software and performing hand calculations for products and connections
Assisting with preparation of construction/installation drawings
Presenting analysis/design results to Senior Engineer and Project engineering team
Independently managing engineering design aspects of a project with minimal assistance or guidance

Qualifications

Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering with Structural Emphasis (Master’s degree preferred)
Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in designing structures
Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks) and structural design software (RISA, Staad.Pro, etc.)
Strong understanding of engineering mechanics and design fundamentals
Knowledge of steelwork manufacturing, installation process, and quality
