Job Description

Amazon is seeking a Team Lead for our Transportation team to drive the sortation & line haul infrastructure in the region.

Responsibilities

Defining the transportation process from FC to delivery stations
Ensure enough bandwidth in sortation team for peak time delivery management
Conduct performance appraisals and mentor supervisors for efficient operations
Improve through put and delivery performance
Analyze data reports to identify bottlenecks and improve performance
Implement formal process control and improvement mechanisms like Kaizen

Qualifications

Strong leadership and people management skills
Execution skills, action-oriented, resourceful
Ability to work under pressure and ambiguity
Experience in logistics and courier industry highly preferred
Experience in process improvement methodologies like six sigma, Kaizen
