Job Description

FLSmidth is seeking a Proposal Engineer to be responsible for interpreting customer RFQs, preparing technical proposals, and supporting the Engineering Team in developing databases and pricelists.

Responsibilities

Read and comprehend customer enquiries and RFQs
Prepare Pumps, Hydrocyclones, and Valves proposals
Estimate costs and equipment sizing
Follow up on proposals and maintain logs
Work closely with vendors for optimal solutions
Provide technical guidance and support to the team

Qualifications

Experience in proposal management and sales support
Ability to deliver compliant and professional proposals within set timeframes
Knowledge of cost estimation and product material costs
