Job Description

Join Databricks as a Senior Backline Engineer (Platform) and help customers succeed with the Databricks platform by resolving technical escalations and collaborating with the support and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex customer issues related to the Databricks Platform

- Provide suggestions for improving performance and provide product improvement feedback

- Contribute to automation and tooling programs for efficient troubleshooting

- Partner with engineering teams to spread awareness of upcoming features and releases

- Identify and contribute supportability features back into the product

- Participate in on-call rotation

Qualifications

- 6+ years of industry experience

- Experience with Java, Scala or Python based applications

- Expert in scripting using Python or Shell

- Experience with SQL-based database systems and Linux troubleshooting

- Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP services

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
