Job Description

Assurant-India is seeking a Complaints & Escalated Claims Specialist to oversee the Complaints Claims Assessment system and processes, manage multiple issues/cases simultaneously, and ensure timely resolution of complaints and claims.

Responsibilities

  • Oversight of the Complaints Claims Assessment system and processes
  • Manage multiple issues/cases simultaneously
  • Accurately assess and review claims and complaints based on T&C
  • Identify and escalate serious cases to the MD
  • Identify process improvement opportunities
  • Communicate with medical advisor for complex cases
  • Ensure SLAs and timelines are met

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in composing responses to external contacts
  • Experience in claim handling and complaints
  • Work experience in the insurance industry
  • Customer-focused roles experience
