Job Description

Join Pocket FM as a Lead Software Engineer and play a key role in managing the development of large-scale, Internet-based applications for audio entertainment. You will be responsible for delivering scalable, high-performance solutions for transaction-intensive web applications.

Responsibilities

Manage specification, design, development, code reviews, and debugging of scalable web applications
Provide leadership and guidance to team members
Mentor junior and senior team members
Participate in architectural decisions and technology evaluation
Coordinate application development projects and production issues
Review work to ensure coding standards and best practices are followed
Assist in recruiting efforts and provide technical guidelines for design and development

Qualifications

B. Tech/B.E. Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
6+ years of software development experience
2-3 years of management/leadership experience
Experience in Python or Golang
Strong understanding of the software development cycle
Excellent communication skills
