Job Description

vConstruct, a Pune based international construction technology company, is seeking a Project Engineer MEP - Costing to join their Costing cluster. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing design information and quantifying Civil, Structural, and Architectural elements for cost estimation purposes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality, accurate quantity estimates leveraging drawings, specifications, and models.
  • Develop quantity takeoffs for various trade packages.
  • Study project drawings and documents to identify discrepancies.
  • Leverage 3D Models for quantification processes.
  • Understand and prepare cost estimates.
  • Communicate effectively with onsite estimators and overseas project teams.
  • Develop workflows, processes, and training materials.
  • Maintain good working relationships with onsite teams and customers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Engineering.
  • 2 years of working experience in building construction.
  • Quantification experience around CSA or MEP preferred.
  • Knowledge of quantification software like Revit, Assemble, CostX, OST, Planswift desired.
  • Strong work ethic, can-do attitude, and ability to learn independently.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to resolve issues.
