Job Description

Join Burns & McDonnell as a Structural Engineer to support senior engineers in civil/structural engineering projects. Collaborate with specialists on large projects in renewables, refining, petrochemical, midstream, and logistics.

Responsibilities

Apply fundamental engineering principles to solve problems.
Perform basic structural analysis and design of steel and concrete components.
Conduct basic seismic analysis and design.
Prepare engineering deliverables such as drawings and specifications.
Collaborate with other disciplines for project coordination.
Support structural design from conceptual to detailed phases.
Design various structures such as pipe racks, tech structures, and equipment foundations.
Design reinforced concrete structures like sumps, pits, and environmental structures.

Qualifications

Bachelor's in civil engineering or Master's in Structural Engineering.
1-5 years of structural engineering experience.
Proficiency with structural software tools like RISA and STAAD.
Understanding of engineering techniques and codes.
Good written and spoken English skills.
