Job Description

Micron Technology is seeking a Principal Firmware Developer with 8-15 years of experience in Embedded Firmware for Storage/SSD. Join us in transforming how the world uses information to enrich life for all.

Responsibilities

Design and debug firmware using assembly and C programming
Work on NAND flash, SSD flash translation layer, wear leveling, and garbage collection
Configure and debug ASIC register settings in an SoC environment
Identify performance critical algorithms for optimization

Qualifications

BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent
Strong experience with ARM development tools and IDE
Knowledge of mass storage interfaces such as SATA, SAS, NVMe
Excellent problem-solving skills
