Innovassynth is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to join our Supply Chain team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring engineering products as well as some indirect purchase for our manufacturing operations.
Procurement Management: Manage the full procurement lifecycle for engineering goods, including sourcing, negotiating, purchasing, and coordinating deliveries of equipment, spare parts, machinery, reactors, and electrical components.
Vendor Management: Build and maintain relationships with existing suppliers, identify new suppliers, and evaluate vendor performance. Ensure suppliers meet quality, cost, and delivery targets.
Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement sourcing strategies to reduce costs, improve quality, and streamline procurement processes.
Cost Negotiation: Lead negotiations with suppliers to obtain the best possible pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules, ensuring value for money for both capital and operational expenditures.
CapEx Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and plan CapEx requirements for new plant setups and expansions.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related field). An MBA in Supply chain management would be an added advantage.
Experience: 8-10 years of experience in procurement, with a strong focus on purchasing engineering products, spare parts, and indirect materials. Experience in the chemical manufacturing or industrial sector is highly desirable.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of engineering products, mechanical, electrical, and industrial equipment. Familiarity with the technical specifications and procurement needs for machinery, reactors, and boilers.
Negotiation Skills: Exceptional negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to secure favorable terms and pricing.
